Nothing here is an offer

The site is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation, a commitment, or terms of any kind, and nothing on it creates a contract, a licence, or an obligation on either side. Any licence would be a separate written agreement, signed by both parties.

No warranty, and no clinical claim

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is either. Nothing on the site describes a demonstrated clinical outcome, and nothing on it is medical advice or a substitute for the judgment of a clinician or pharmacist. Regulatory qualification of any closure, including child-resistant packaging testing and certification, is the responsibility of the party that manufactures and dispenses it.

About the mechanism

RedCap is a mechanical closure. It does not collect, store, or transmit data, and it contains no electronics, no battery, and no connectivity of any kind.

Sources

Star Ratings figures on this site are stated for the measurement year or star year named. The measure weight cited is the weight codified at 42 CFR 423.186(e), under which outcome and intermediate outcome measures receive a weight of 3. Measurement years map to star years, and the measure-adherence threshold and calculation are specified, in the CMS Part C & D Star Ratings Technical Notes. Measure weights are set by CMS and are subject to future rulemaking.

Where we cite public sources such as regulatory documents or published studies, those sources speak for themselves and belong to their authors. A citation is not an endorsement of RedCap Labs by the cited body, author, or publisher.
